Paola Aguirre

Paola Aguirre has been trained as an architect and urban designer and is also the founder of The Borderless Workshop. Her practice includes urban planning projects working with the City of Chihuahua (Northern Mexico), Utile Inc. (Boston), and campus planning with New York University. She currently works at the City Design Studio at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Chicago where she also contributes to the Great Lakes Century Vision. Her research focuses in cities within the US-Mexican border region with The Borderless Workshop, this collaborative initiative that she founded in 2012.
